Primary school competition in Broome - results from the third week of the first school term competition 2010
In the Broome Basketball Association’s Primary School Competition’s games played last Friday , year 5 boys team Cable Beach defeated Roebuck 8 to 5.in a low scoring game and St Mary’s defeated Broome, 20 to 15. St Mary’s Quillan Salkild with eight points was the game-high point’s scorer.
The Year 5 Girls competition had a new team nominate this week, Cable Beach, and they tied with Roebuck, six points each.
In the Year 6 Boys Competition, St Mary’s had a big win, 44 to 18, over Broome. St Mary’s Bernard Pearmara with 16 points was his team’s major point’s contributor while Broome’s Asman Sebastian scored 14 points. In the other year 6 boys?game, Cable Beach 27 defeated Roebuck 7. Cable Beach’s Christian Kesich top scored with 14 points.
In the Year 6 Girls Competition game, Cable Beach defeated Roebuck, 6. In the Year 7 games played, Cable Beach’s boys?team defeated Roebuck, 20 to 6.
In the girls year 7 games, St Mary’s were too strong for Broome in the second half and ran out winners, 26 to 13. St Mary’s Kirsten Martin was the game high scorer with 18 points. In the other year 7 girls?game, the Roebuck team had a good win, 15 to 4, against Cable Beach.
